Well, I am a Savage owner wannabe. I've been having great
fun with my little blue 250 bike, but have caught myself
reading this board too often.
Local motorcyclce shop (good folk), used, LS650, 2000 model,
a bit over $3,000 out the door. I looked on the underside,
there is flat broken metal strap, that should reach from
one side of the frame (behind the engine) to the other
side. Other than this it looks just fine... 1,400 miles
on the bike.
The bikes are flying out the door, in northeast PA. What
do you think? Fair price? I'm going back monday to see if
I can find out what caused the broken stap on underside.
I hope to do a quick test ride on monday.. I've seen 2
new Savages leave this place in a week. I just have that
feeling that if I let this one go by... I won't see
another used Savage for awhile.
